The Windsor Workshop Goes Bush - Casa Warrandyte Day Art Retreat - Saturday 5 August, 2023
Something to look forward to!
Join us on Saturday 5 August 2023, 10am - 5pm at Casa Warrandyte (situated in the Yarra Valley, 45 minutes from Melbourne city), for a full day workshop ‘out bush’.
The Windsor Workshop’s aim is to provide a place to gather; a place to slow down, breathe and explore the creativity lurking within. In conjunction with Sarah Hankinson, we have curated a day to connect, create and to bring together this community of inspired folk we have come to love - that’s YOU! Our Day Art Retreat combines 4 workshops into one day, making this the perfect time out (not to mention great value).
We encourage you to come with a buddy, but we also support you to come on your own. We guarantee you will waltz out with your cup over floweth and with new friends to boot. Spaces are strictly limited to ensure an intimate experience.

you arrive at the spectacular mud-brick, mid century Architectural Bush Retreat Casa Warrandyte in the Yarra Valley (more information below)
we kick off the day with warm introductions, speciality coffee and tea as well as an array of tasty edible delights
begin your retreat with a connection to country through the Practice of Wayapa® which combines Indigenous ancient earth mindfulness, narrative meditation and storytelling and will set the mood for the remainder of the day (more information below)
then it’s time to take in the lush surrounds - walk / stretch / sketch - a drawing session with Sarah Hankinson to unblock our creativity and lubricate our artistic minds
we will then treat you with a delectable and local gourmet lunch including non alcoholic spritzes and of course, sparkling / still wine of the region.
next up - a home made watercolour paint making session with natural dry ingredients. This will include a take home paint kit of your very own, as well as a handmade ceramic palette by Daisy Cooper to complete your set.
a colour mixing and colour theory chat will help to complete this session as a necessary element of still life drawing and watercolour painting
cocktail hour? We think so…
finally, our famous Watercolour workshop facilitated by world renowned Illustrator, Sarah Hankinson, inspired by the local landscape you have been absorbing all damn day…
You will be sent home with a TWW curated goodie bag, the paints you’ve made, hand built ceramic palette, a full tummy and a fuzzy heart. Did I hear you say, “Book me in!”…

Strictly limited to 12 participants
In the event of an unfortunate need to cancel / reschedule, we will do our best to reschedule instead of cancel the event – however this may be out of our control. We will be held accountable under the cancellation policy of the Air BnB terms and conditions.
