  1. Booking is not secure until invoice is paid in full. Failure to pay will result in your booking being forfeited and may be booked to another party

  2. 50% of total invoice may be refunded if cancellation of booking / change of booking date is made in writing, more than 10 business days prior to event taking place

  3. Cancellation of booking / change of booking date less than 10 business days prior to event taking place, will not be refunded.

  4. Final catering numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to event (including all dietary requirements). Any cancellation of catering less than 5 business days of event will incur full catering charge. Menu is subject to change with alteration of catering numbers.

  5. Any overtime outside of agreed booking times will be charged at an hourly rate. This includes arriving before agreed venue booking time and departure after agreed exit time.

  7. If your booking needs to be postponed due to Covid restrictions, we will reschedule the date at no extra cost to you, pending date availability. (If catering has been ordered and is unable to be refunded by our supplier, we cannot offer a credit for that component)

  8. Payment of your invoice indicates acceptance of these terms.

Cancellations & Refunds

If the organiser (The Windsor Workshop) cancels the class you are entitled to a transfer or credit note.

If you can't attend the class you’re welcome to send someone in your place.

OR

  • A refund can be requested 4 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.

  • A transfer can be requested 4 days before the class starts. Free of charge.

  • A credit note can be requested 4 days before the class starts. Free of charge.

No changes will be allowed after these times. We recommend the refund upgrade option upon checkout in case you’re not able to attend the class. Learn more about refund upgrade option.

General Terms & Conditions

Our workshops are suitable for persons 16 years or older.

You may be photographed at this event.

The Windsor Workshop reserves the right to cancel any scheduled workshop.  The reasons this may occur are (a) if a workshop does not reach the minimum number of students or (b) an Artist or Workshop Facilitator falls ill.  In the unfortunate circumstance of a workshop being cancelled, students will be notified at least 2 days before the commencement of the workshop and a credit note will be issued to be used at a later date.  Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds if the class is cancelled. 

If you are unable to attend your workshop, please let us know within four days of your workshop and we will give you a credit note to be used at a later date, or transfers are available upon request. No credit notes will be issued for cancellations when less than four working days' notice is given. Due to the nature of how we pay artists, order materials and supplies and pre-pay for catering and beverages, no refunds are available.

FAQs

  • There are lots of 2 hour parking spots in the area, otherwise you can use the Prahran Square parking which is a 3 min walk away. Entry is via 30 – 40 Izett Street, Prahran

  • Yes! Access by train (Sandringham Line) to Prahran Station (we are a 1 – 2 minute walk from Prahran Station depending on your stride)

    Access by trams High Street (Number 6 line), Chapel Street (Number 78 line) or Commercial Road (Number 72 line)

  • Whilst the venue is not available 24 hours, we can accommodate most timing of events, just ask! (Extra charges may apply.)

  • Yes, you are welcome to self cater and use our crockery, cutlery, glassware and serving utensils. Please contact us to enquire about our self-catering fees.

  • Yes! Our room is filled with natural light as well as a number of different backdrops (exposed brick, rendered wall, white wall, outdoor laneway areas) - we think it’s perfect!

  • Yes, we have a number of creative workshops on offer, or we are happy for you to organise your own creative activity and external facilitator. Give us a shout at hello@thewindsorworkshop.com to discuss ideas and options.

  • Yes, a friendly TWW member will likely be close by at all times should you require assistance. Please let us know your specific requirements as extra charges may apply to have someone on call

  • We understand that sometimes you get carried away, and it’s possible you will run over your booking time. Generally speaking, we are happy to hang around later for you, you will just need to let us know if you think you’re going to go over. If so, we charge $175 per hour plus GST (billed in 1/2 hour increments), which will be invoiced to you post event.

  • Again, we understand that sometimes the unforeseeable happens. Please refer to our T’s and C’s.

  • Absolutely not! Once your event has wrapped up, simply collect your belongings and move on out. We want to make this is as easy as possible for you.

  • Yes, we can give you the code on the day. We just ask that you disable any automatic downloading / uploading of Google Drive / Dropbox / icloud etc as it will slow it down to almost nothing. (Thank’s to Windsor’s finest wifi)
